Nanny Baby MonITOR Reviews

I purchased this Monitor after a real scare with my 6 week old daughter. It just gives an added benefit of her breathing being monitored in the night by something else other than me (although I seem to be awake all night anyhow!!) I think the cost is a small price to pay for that. It was totally simple to set up and use. I have no negatives as of yet as I’ve only had it for a week… I’m pretty sure I won’t have any problems as it’s really straightforward and I’ll continue to use it until her toddler years.

We love this device. Before we had it we would lie awake endlessly listening for the sound of our little one breathing whenever we tried to get to sleep. Now we relax a lot more, and everyone is probably sleeping better. Simple to use, no false alarms yet. Love it.

When our baby was a couple of months old she seemed to breath hold. We took her to a paediatrician who examined her and who said she seemed OK so our GP recommended a mat. It has gone off twice but ages ago – we still use it (she is now 9 months) and is just so reassuring! You can get baby anti rolling things so the older ones don’t move off it. My only issue – how do you stop using it!!??

I bought this mat as it is recommended by my local special baby care unit. My newborn (now 15 days) will only sleep on his tummy and the mat gives peace of mind so that I can get some sleep! The alarm is very loud when the baby stops moving/breathing and should wake even a very heavy sleeper. Worth every penny and cheaper than some others on the market.

While it is a bit odd to put your baby’s safety in the hands of an electronic device, this gadget does provide some serious peace of mind. Rather than replace the paranoid parent staying awake all night, it does help!

I use this as my baby is a very deep sleeper and quite often doesn’t move for ages making me very anxious. It gives me more peace of mind and seems to be a high quality product (although I’ve only been using it for a week). It is quiet, using a light to indicate breathing/movement so doesn’t disturb sleep, but I can check immediately that he is OK by opening one eye and looking for the green light. There is a delay for the alarm before it goes off and a few quiet beeps before it alarms which is useful if you’ve forgotten to turn it off when picking your baby up.

THIS PRODUCT IS GREAT. IT PICKS UP EVERY MOVEMENT MY BABY MAKES. REALLY PUTS MY MIND AT REST SO I CAN SLEEP KNOWING IF ANYTHING IS WRONG THE ALARM WILL SOUND. BATTERIES LAST AGES. EASY TO USE. SIMPLE TO SET UP. ALTHOUGH IT’S EXPENSIVE, IT’S WORTH EVERY PENNY.

I am a trained and highly experienced maternity nurse who has been using this breathing pad monitor for many years. I recommend this to all my clients ensuring I have peace of mind whilst new babies are in my care. Without exception each one of my clients have purchased one to give reassurance when baby goes to sleep. This product has never failed for me. It doesn’t come into contact with the baby as it sits under the mattress. Surprisingly it picks up the baby’s breathing movement with even a fairly deep mattress but I would recommend you put this to the test before use. It gives me added confidence should the baby have a stop breathing issue I have the alarm to alert me to take action. I have tried other monitor pads on the market and have chosen to stick to this one for many years and will continue to do so. Value for money and does what it’s designed to do.

The alarm is very loud and it’s always reassuring to hear it go off when you lift the baby out and forget to turn it off!
